VV Minerals India Questions The Suspension Of Mineral Mining In Tamil Nadu

VV Minearl Mining

VV Minerals India was hit by the blanket ban on mining in the state of Tamil Nadu as ordered by the state government. However, not ones to take things sitting down they have questioned the ban in the Tamil Nadu high court.

The Tamil Nadu state government has ordered a blanket ban on mining and the transport of heavy minerals and VV Minerals has been hit by it.

The ban on mining and transport of heavy minerals has been brought into effect in four mining hotspots Kanniyakumari, Tirunelvelli, Madurai and Trichy districts.

Quarries are meant to be inspected and all the processes followed by the active mining companies will be inspected and probed into.

The crackdown on Tamil Nadu mining came after a report submitted by a local Tuticorin collector who suspected foul play in mining activities.

However, VV Minerals objects to the blanket ban and would like to understand why the probe is being made applicable for all erring as well as non-erring companies.

VV Minerals has denied to be a part of the mass ban and would like to see a probe report on the allegations cited. It says the allegations are a conspiracy by their business rivals.
